Diagonal Comms to partner leading sim-racing producer Asetek SimSports
Diagonal Comms, the communications and content agency founded by experienced motorsport comms chief Matt Bishop, today announces a brand-new partnership with Asetek SimSports – the world-leading sim-racing hardware business.
As Asetek SimSports continues to expand its product range, Diagonal Comms will provide an extensive communications service which will support the ongoing efforts of Asetek’s internal team based in Aalborg, Denmark, to increase brand recognition and mass market share.
Founded in 2000, Asetek is a Danish garage-to-stock exchange success story and is a global leader in mechatronic innovation. Asetek designs, manufactures, and delivers gaming hardware for next-level immersive gaming experiences. Not only does Asetek produce sim-racing equipment including wheelbases, steering wheels, pedals, and accessories, they also make all-in-one liquid coolers for major PC and enthusiast gaming brands.
Asetek’s history is steeped in motorsport. André Eriksen – the company’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer – is a keen racer, and his son, Valdemar, is a multiple race-winner as well as having achieved podium finishes in all the series he has raced in, from karting to F4, F3, GT3, and Le Mans prototypes. With that experience, Valdemar plays a key role in helping Asetek develop products that are as close to those you will experience in a real racing car.
Diagonal Comms’ turn-key communications and PR solution will include media outreach, media training, and thought-leadership positioning for Asetek’s senior management team to complement the brand’s upward curve in the performance gaming hardware industry.
