Danny Buchan joins DAO Racing Kawasaki for 2024 campaign
Kimura backed British Superbike rider and host of the leading motorcycle racing podcast Pushing The Limit, Danny Buchan will be back on the grid for the 2024 season aboard the the DAO Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR.
Buchan leaves TAS Racing’s Synetiq BMW team with whom he’s been with for the last three years but after a troubled 2023 season with them he’s excited for next years new challenge.
“It’s no secret that 2023 has been a disaster, but DAO Racing can see potential in me, which is massive! The team has clear ambitions to become regular podium finishers and race winners, and that’s always the goal of a racer.” Buchan revealed.
“I feel very proud to be part of this project and obviously excited to be jumping back on a bike I’ve got good memories with. The Kawasaki ZX-10RR is in good form currently in BSB, so with a winter’s test plan and lots of laps, I’m hoping we can get right to it and have a good first season together. Thank you to my supporters, sponsors and everyone who has stayed so positive around me this season. Roll on 2024!”
Danny returns to Team Green the Kawasaki family having spent a season with FS3 Kawasaki in 2019 where he finished 4th in the championship and previously he rode for Team Green in other classes.
