MMA Prospect Cameron Stewart Returns to Cage Warriors Academy 16th July with New Stripe From Royce Gracie
Cameron Stewart, 21, an amateur lightweight MMA fighter recently gave an insight into his camp leading up to his highly anticipated Cage Warriors Academy come-back fight after a controversial split decision loss to current lightweight amateur champ, David Cooke.
Cameron has expressed how he is eager for a rematch with Cooke but focuses on the current target in sight, Billy Fenech, who is coming off 3 straight victories including a rear-naked choke finish in round 2 versus Kyran Newberry.
“Been preparing hard, training every day” Cameron said at Cage Warriors media day.
Cameron was awarded an additional new stripe on his blue belt by the legend Royce Gracie at TSG MMA in Southend-on-sea this week.
The MMA legend, Royce, went on to share some words of wisdom with young prospect Cameron ahead of his lightweight bout this Saturday.
